So, today has been one of THOSE days...you know THOSE days that just don't seem to end?
"What may have happened?" you ask?
My university, that's what...
So my friends and I decide to be nice and early for registration today...like 7:30am early...Well...that didn't happen. We got there and got told to leave and only come back because the first years hadn't finished registering and so they would only start us at 12...our 4th year of registration...FAIL! We decided to go to a local mall and had nice coffee at the coffee shop and then helped Jane find herself an awesome white dress for a show she's playing in. We decided we'd try get back before 12 and achieved this by getting to university at about...11:15. We then FINALLY got our forms...filled them in....and waited...and waited....and waited...let's say this waiting period lasted oh...4 hours...yes 4 HOURS for how many signatures?
Only 1...
Yes...1...to say that we are taking the right modules for our course.
So after we got that signature at 3:30pm we rushed down to see if we could get our Dean's signature before we go for data capturing...knowing it would be a pointless, but still having faith...
So we sat outside the head of our department's office for about 15 minutes and then the secretary comes.
The head of our department has a meeting and so our forms were gonna be taken and we have to come back at 8am tomorrow morning to complete our registration...
Yes, that did actually happen. Yes, she did actually take our forms...and am I registered for my fourth year degree for my Bachelor of Music?
NO!!!!!!!!!!!
But I must say something that is very positive:)
Sunday I went to Fight Force at the exhibition center to support five of the guys Nelson trains with. It was amazing and so much fun. My throat was raw from all the screaming I did.
I know people have some issues with cage fighting, and I do understand it. I know it's a blood sport, but once you know the rules and know how protected the guys (and some girls) actually are, you see it with different eyes.
I certainly did.
Nelson is fighting on Saturday at MFC and I'm not gonna lie. I'm nervous about it. After all, anything can happen...I mean one of the guys from Nelson's gym got his broken in the fight on Sunday...But I support him because he loves doing it and the guys that I've met are some of nicest people I've ever met. Humble. Honest. Well-grounded. Kind. And yet intimidating at the same time...just kidding.
So on Saturday I will be there screaming his name and supporting him, knowing he is well trained and ready for this and he knows I'm proud of him because it takes guts to get into that cage in front of all those people.
And that's what matters...
Much love
